Hi, I’m Andrew Hurst and I’m a writer. I’ve spent my entire career creating SEO-friendly personal finance content, mostly focusing on insurance.
Since 2019, I’ve worked as a technical writer, and then as an editor on a couple of different digital marketing teams. In these roles, I’ve created or updated more than 1,000 articles, guides, product reviews, and surveys. I’ve been quoted in publications such as the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, and NPR’s Marketplace, as well as many others.
Throughout my career, I’ve been drawn to the challenge of simplifying complex topics for lay readers. I love experimenting with new ways to present useful information to readers, even if they’re not quite sure what they want.
Before starting in content marketing, I graduated with a Master’s degree from Wright State University in Ohio, where I specialized in 18th-century British literature.
